We had an assignment to draw a tree, and I wanted to go a little out there. I thought it would be fun to play around with negative space! So I outlined the tree I was drawing in pencil, and did the rest with charcoal and a smudging stick. Rather fun!
Instead of doing just a white silhouette, I tried to show all the depth the tree had. It wasn't perfectly shaped; almost no real trees are!
I liked how you used the black & white!
